NSW Fire Brigade - Fireground Photos

Springwood BBQ Chicken Shop Fire

February 10, 2002 
 

 

NSW Fire Brigade were called to a fire at a BBQ Chicken Store on Macquaire Road at Springwood. On my arrival on scene, two appliances from Lawson and Glenbrook Brigades were on scene making the scene safe and mopping up (Springwood Fire Station's 2 Appliances attended at other times while I was not on scene). The shop was badly damaged in the fire. This was my first night fireground photographic experience.

 

 

 The result of the fire.

Initial reports had suggested that persons might still be inside the building so Police and Ambulance also attended. Both services remained on standby during the fire fighting operations to assist.
