Incident Control Vehicles
 

The majority of incidents that the NSWFB attend are co-ordinated between the Station Officer on the scene and the Communications Centres at Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong. However during major incidents where many Firefighters, appliances and equipment are being used, onsite co-ordination and communications can be used so not to impact on regular communications not concerning the large incident. Also, liaison and co-ordination maybe required between various Emergency Services.

 

To do this, the NSWFB has a specially set up Incident Control Vehicle which can be seen on this page.
