NSW Fire Brigade - Firepac
 

Austral Firepacs can be seen either as a pumper type appliance or as a rescue type appliance. Some Firepac features can now be seen in the newer Varley Commander appliances.

Austral Firepac Pumper from Pyrmont Fire station arrives from the east towards the fireground - in this case, a partial building collapse at Camperdown..
 

 

  

Burwood Fire station's Firepac Rescue Appliance was painted yellow as a trial to determine if it was an easier colour to see in an emergency situation or not. New Rescue trucks are delivered in red and white so needless to say, this truck is unique.

Firepac allocated to the SEV (Service Exchange Vehicle) Fleet at Picton Fire station during the December 2001/January 2002 bushfires.  In the second photo, the Firepac is behind Engadine's International Pumper. January 2002.

Unlike other Firepacs on this page, Seven Hills' Firepac is in the new version of the NSWFB's colour scheme with red and white the only colours used (as used on the Varley Commanders). Prospect Shopping Centre, February 2002.
